STUDY & PREPARATION
One of the most complicated part of our job is the preparation and calculation process. It requires a lot of passion, love, knowledge and experience in a vast field of applications, to finally create detailed blueprints. After that we can proceed to the KNX programming and start setting up the building layout with all the functional blocks of applications such as lighting, shades, heating & cooling, safety and many more.
ADVICING & SUPPORT
It is very important for us to make our customer feel confident and create trust. For this reason, during a project, cognitive constantly examines the new data that come up and makes sure to provide the appropriate advice to all the involved individuals. Even after the project is completed, we continue to offer our support services through annual maintenance contracts. This way we are always there for our customers with anything they might need, from adding new features, changing the way their smart home works, or even if something goes down for any reason.
CERTIFIED KNX/EIB CABLES
A poor quality or not certified KNX/EIB cable can cause catastrophic results in the smart home functionality. In our installations we use only certified KNX cables, so that we can be sure that the cable medium will meet the high requirements and standards of KNX Association.
FUTURE ORIENTED ETHERNET CABLES
Today one of the most important smart home network apart from the KNX/BUS is the LAN and Wi-Fi. In cognitive we give a tremendous emphasis on the proper design of the whole Local area network topology, in order to create a robust infrastructure for the Wi-Fi and the rest ethernet network that will support all the other IP devices such as cameras, wall-mount tablets, access points, KNX servers, door phones etc. For this reason we always suggest cables of Cat.7 S/FTP specification and above in order to be able to support any other future upgrade of the market.
